Full-Time Mental Health Counselor

Role Description
We’re looking for a thoughtful, relational therapist to join our team. You’ll work with a diverse client population, with a particular focus on relationships, trauma, intimacy, and identity work. This is a full-time, in-person role for a Mental Health Counselor in our Back Bay, Boston office with some flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities include:
Providing counseling services to 20–25 clients per week
Contributing approximately 5 hours weekly to leadership or administrative projects, defined collaboratively with the practice
Participating in professional development, supervision, and community engagement initiatives
Qualifications
We’re looking for a clinician who brings skill, depth, and heart to their work.
Preferred qualifications:
Fully licensed (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent); if unlicensed, eligibility for LMHC licensure required
5–10 years of post-licensure clinical experience (preferred, not required)
Mastery of core humanistic counseling skills and philosophy
Strong grounding in a guiding theory of counseling
Expertise in relationship counseling and training/experience in sex therapy
Competence in treatment planning, case management, and supervision
Commitment to multicultural and intersectional practice
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Pay & Benefits
We aim to provide compensation and support that reflect our respect for the profession:
$100–$150 per billable hour + $1,000/month stipend for administrative contributions - based on experience and qualifications; higher compensation is available for seasoned clinicians
