COVID-19 Update 3/20/20

Dear Friends,

As the new reality of our world continues to swirl and change, I’ve been struggling to know what to do and how to handle it all. I am sure you feel similarly. So much is happening; every day we learn something new and have new orders from our officials who are working to help us. It seems that the next few weeks will be crucial here in DFW. We only have a short time to “flatten the curve”, and we must all do our part.

To help, I will be moving all of my sessions to Telehealth at least until March 27, 2020. Some of my clients cannot be served via Telehealth. For those cases, I will contact you directly to make a more personalized plan. I anticipate that I will be able to see some in-person, on a case-by-case basis, after March 27, but next week, we in DFW need to make sure no one leaves their homes for non-essential reasons.

SimplePractice, my online practice management system, is already setup for Telehealth. Once I have switched your appointment to a Telehealth appointment, the system will send you a text or an email around 10 minutes prior to your appointment time with a link. If you are setup with wifi and a webcam on a computer, phone, or tablet, all you need do is click that link. You can also login to the system and see the link under the “Appointments” tab.

I will be contacting all of my scheduled clients personally to let them know about this switch to Telehealth next week. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to let me know at (469) 405-0322 or through the online portal messaging system.

Stay well!

Lee
